I remember the first time I got back on a bike after years. I was hesitant. My hands gripped the handlebars tightly. My mind whispered: What if I’ve forgotten? What if I can’t make it?

I decided to ride into town, up a long incline…I was loudly grunting and grinning and I saw in the distance workmen come out of the building to see what all the noise was about! So funny ….

And after a few times my body remembered. I laughed. The wobble turned into balance. The balance turned into speed. And soon, I was flying down the road, wind in my face, joy bubbling up from somewhere deeper than thought.

That’s the energy this week is giving us.
